Things to do in Louisville this Weekend By: Jeanette

Louisville Family Fun November 5-7 Weekend

The first weekend of November in Louisville still has a variety of family fun events for both indoors and outdoors. Be sure to check out the calendar for additional events that did not make our top picks for this weekend.

Friday:
If you can brave the predicted colder weather, enjoy some trolley hopping with the family for the First Friday Trolley Hop

Or if you prefer to stay indoors, enjoy the $5 entry fee after 5pm for the Louisville Science Center

Saturday:

Bring pumpkins back for some destruction at Hinton’s Orchard and Farm Market for the first ever Pumpkin Destruction event.

Maybe you want to build something, check out Home Depot’s Free Kids Workshop where they will be building a spice rack this week.

Enjoy an indoor activity with a Squallis Puppeteer Show

Or check out the one-time musical show of Bullies put on by the Blue Apple Players

If you want to enjoy the outdoors, Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest has two different programs for the family and young children to enjoy.

Sunday:

Enjoy an afternoon at Blackacre Nature Preserve for some stories, music, games, and races during Blackacre Harvest Celebration
Already thinking about Thanksgiving? Make a craft during Michael’s Knack Free Family Event – Thanksgiving Turkey Placeholder.
Check out the websites for additional information for dates, times, and pricing.
