Winter Wonderland Christmas at Bass Pro Shops By: Stephanie

Vote in our Holiday Photo Contest!
This morning, my husband and I got the kids dressed in their holiday attire and headed across the Ohio to Indiana to visit Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville.   Santa arrived at 10am, but we got there at around 10:45am.  At that time, the line was relatively short! We were pleased since I have heard that the line can get quite long.  Actually, when we were leaving, the line looked pretty significant.

The good thing about Winter Wonderland is that if you are there with someone else, they can wait on line and you can take the kids around to play games, color or just check out the items for sale.  Right around Santa's workshop, there's a lot to see and do for the kids. It will make waiting in line bearable if you have a partner that can wait in line rather than making the kids stay in line for a while.
They are very efficient about the Santa pictures. The kids get up on his lap, bells shake, lights flash and bam! You have a free 4x6 photo of your kids with Santa and even a reindeer in the background.

After the picture, we walked around with the kids to explore the rest of the store. They loved seeing all of the animals, large aquarium, waterfalls, sharks dangling from the ceiling, camping tents and boats. My daughter loved walking through the "rainforest" on the 2nd floor where people can play shooting target games.  You can even grab a starbucks and head over to the putting greens and practice some golf!

We really enjoyed our monring at Bass Pro Shops. It's a truly remarkable store, experience really.  And, don't forget, you can actually SHOP there too!
