Things to do in Louisville in March 2011

Not only are we getting closer to warmer weather, but March looks is a great month for fun free and inexpensive things to do from a parade to Kids Fairs!

For FREE:

First Friday Free Night Speed Museum and Art Sparks - Great opportunity to check out Art Sparks for free! Check out our review and 2nd review of Art Sparks:

Mardi Gras at Main Library Main Library
Listen to jazz and make a mask at this festive storytime. Ages 3-11

Kids Fest in Shepherdsville Kid's Fest -FREE
A festival designed to entertain and educate children 12 years old and under. Children must be supervised by an adult.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade begins at Broadway and Baxter and ends near Mid City Mall.

Not quite free: $10 or less/person

Raptor Day at Jefferson Memorial Forest:
Have an up close and personal experience as you learn more about these jet fighters of the birding world. Fee: $2 for parking.
American Turners Circus put on by the students

SECOND SATURDAY Family Day – “Celebrating Women’s History Month” at Frazier Museum

Louisville Kids Fair at Kentucky International Convention Center
