4th of July - Independence Day Events in and around Louisville



Here is a list of fun things to do with your family for the 4th of July around Louisville and Southern Indiana!
Saturday July 2

Fireworks in the Town Center: Norton Commons
Bring out the family to see the fireworks from the Town Center. The fireworks display will be held Saturday, July 2nd at dusk! Bring chairs, blankets, goodies and all!

Sunday July 3

Independence Celebration: Jefferonsville-The Louisville Crashers w/Identity Crisis
The Louisville Crashers and Identity Crisis perform at RiverStage. Admission is free. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

4th of July Fireworks Cruise
Join us for Louisville's Fourth of July celebration! Both the Belle of Louisville and the Spirit of Jefferson will participate in the event with a funtastic cruise on July 3rd, and the Belle will also do a Fireworks Cruise on July 4th. A gigantic fireworks show will be featured on both nights.

Crescent Hill Old-Fashioned Fourth of July in conjuction with the Crescent Hill Art & Music Festival

Waterfront Independence Festival: Live music, kids activities, vendors

New Albany Independence Day Concert: Joe Diffy, Sammy Kershaw, and Aaron Tippin.  Country Concert followed by Fireworks - New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater

Monday July 4

Waterfront Independence Festival:Live music, kids activities, vendors

Independence Day – Locust Grove FREE TO THE PUBLIC all day!
Celebrate our nation's Independence in the style of the early Republic. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the grounds of Locust Grove.

Louisville Bats Be sure to catch the special fireworks nights on July 4th. These shows will be bigger and better then our Friday night shows!

4th of July Fireworks Cruise Join us for Louisville's Fourth of July celebration! Both the Belle of Louisville and the Spirit of Jefferson will participate in the event with a funtastic cruise on July 3rd, and the Belle will also do a Fireworks Cruise on July 4th. A gigantic fireworks show will be featured on both nights.

Celebrating Freedom Parade in Jeffersonville The annual Celebrating Freedom Parade takes place on Spring Street between Riverside Drive and Court Avenue, with a post-parade celebration in Warder Park. The event is free.

Anchorage Parade, Picnic and Games:  Parade starts at 5:30pm, picnic (bring your own) at 6:30 and games at 7:30

Louisville's festivities are, apparently, cancelled due to lack of funding.

We keep all posts on our website but as you can see, always redirect people to the current post in case they landed on a previous year. With websites, it's actually a bad idea to remove old content - it messes with the search engines!
