Louisville Family Fun June 10, 11, 12 Weekend

The forecast for the second weekend in June looks to be fabuLOUs! I am predicting some pretty fun happenings no matter if it is scorching hot or if rain appears. It was so hard to choose the top events this weekend so be sure and check out all the additional festivals, movies, and more on the calendar.

Friday:

Public Premier of Mark Steven Williams' Tour of the Summer Night Sky at Rauch Planetarium – FREE

Despicable Me at Natural Science lawn next to Grawemeyer Hall at U of L – FREE

Louisville Greekfest - Belvedere walkway entrance is at Main and Fifth Street. –  Enjoy Greek food and culture all weekend long!

Saturday:

Just for Kids’ Day at Norton Commons Farmers’ Market - Bouncies, face painting, petting zoo, Kosair’s balloon, Worthington Fire Department and more at the farmers’ market. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Kosair Children’s Hospital Foundation.

JeffFest at Downtown Jeffersonville - Fun for the entire family along with celebrating Schimpff’s Confectionery’s 120th Anniversary.

Second Saturdays at Frazier Museum – Celebrating Queens and Kings of England

Stars Over Blackacre’s Summer Night Sky – Blackacre Conservancy

Sunday:

Storytime Performance by BlueApple Players at the Summit of Arts Festival – FREE  

Summit Arts Festival (Saturday too) at the Summit.  Storytelling and crafts both days.

MetroCouncil Movie Night - SECRETARIAT at Iroquois Amiphitheater
