Review of CostumeSupercenter.com

PhotobucketPhotobucketMy daughter has really fell in love with horses later and I have been trying to run with that so she I can help foster this interest.  We have been reading books about horses, drawing and painting them, going to the Kentucky State Fair and watching them in the competitions, exploring the Kentucky Derby Museum and on and on. But, something was missing. Maggie does not have a horse!  Well, this is impossible so I thought I would do the next best thing, a costume! We can play dress up with it and she can use her imagination and pretend to "run for the roses!"  And, if she's still in love with horses, she can use it for Halloween as well.

PhotobucketPhotobucketWe browsed ConstumeSupercenter.com and looked at many of the different girl's Halloween costumes.  I was originally thinking I would want a costume for her that would turn her into a horse, then I saw the cowgirl costumes and thought the children's options were really adorable!  But still, we need a horse!!!  Then, I hit the jackpot!!  I found a horse costume that fits over her and it's like she's riding it.  She can dress up like a cowgirl, jockey, saddle bred rider....anything!

Whether it's for Halloween or dress up, this website is really great.  My kids and I sat at the computer and had fun browsing all of the categories thinking about Halloween and laughing about things like who would be Scooby and who would be Shaggy.  My son claimed that my daughter should be Shaggy because I always say her hair is a mess!   Aside from Halloween, it's a nice site for dress-up options.  The prices are reasonable because the accessories come a la cart and you are not forced into paying $50 for the costume when you really didn't want the gloves and hat (for example).

PhotobucketThe shipping was very fast and they have coupon codes at different times! Right now (Aug '11) they have a coupon code on the top of the site for 15% off when you spend $30.  So, get yourself some dress up supplies or start shopping for Halloween.

Let your kids' imagination come to life!
