Things to do this weekend in and around Louisville August 26,27,28

It's the last weekend in August. I am very ready for September!  But, let's go out with a bang and make this last weekend in August in Kentuckiana a fabuLOUs one!

This post is graciously brought to you by:Kellogg's Coupon NewsletterSign up now for $5 in exclusive coupons!

Here's my picks for the weekend:

Try a new cupcake shop, grand opening tomorrow Jamie's 14K Cupcakes.  938 Baxter Ave!  People, they have PUSH POP CUPCAKES.   Yeah, I know, awesome!

Hop on and off - F.A.T. Hop is wonderful and you can grab a slice of pizza at one end and shop at the other.  The free Trolley rides start running at 6pm.

10am Come say hi to Stephanie and her kids at the Touch A Truck Event in Clarksville. She'll be the one picking her son's jaw off of the floor as he stares in awe at the trucks.
2pm Enjoy the beautiful Yew Dell Gardens for their Hummingbird Festival, free with regular admission.

Grab a cupcake at any of the Homemade Ice Cream and Pie shop locations for just $1.50 this weekend.  They are upside-down and really unique.

Shop at Locust Grove and get some "new to you" books, it's their big books sale!  $10 a bag or half price on Sunday!
