Siblinks - Connecting Siblings of Special Needs Kids

I wanted to tell you about a very interesting program that I learned about today while toting my son to see the doctor.  We go to Prospect Pediatrics and one of the doctors, Pam Biddle, MD is coordinating this wonderful program called Siblinks through siblingsupport.org  This a fabuLOUs time for these kids to get together with others and connect.

Here's what it's about:  It is an opportunity for brothers and sisters of children with special health, mental health and/or developmental needs to meet other siblings in these circumstances.  They can get together and focus on having fun and know that they are not alone!  The program is for kids ages 7-12 and it is taking place at the Kidville Theater at Northeast Christian Church.

You can also help out if you are an adult sibling of a special needs person or a teen sibling.  To register or inquire about helping, you can email Pam Biddle, MD at pambiddle@yahoo.com  (502-262-3131) or Danielle Jones at stevedansj@yahoo.com

The workshop dates are September 24th, October 22, November 19th & December 10th all from 10am to noon.  The cost is $20/workshop (scholarships available).  Class space is limited to 20, so inquire today!
