Things to do this weekend in and around Louisville October 28,29,30

This weekend is all about Halloween, there's not getting around it. Here are my picks for the best things to do in Kentuckiana with your family. There are many other things listed for event to do with your kids all in our Hallween post.

Jack O’Lantern Stroll: October 28, 2011,  Louisville Slugger Field
A community event that features over 1,200 carved pumpkins, carved by community members and those supported by Dreams With Wings.

Halloween Harvest Party at the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve.    There's even a coupon for admission!  Friday, October 28th 4:00-10:00 p.m. &  Saturday, October 29th 3:00-10:00 p.m. 2011  Some activities are free and others are pay-as-you-do etc.  Options include kids halloween trail, haunted house and more!

Boo Dell at Yell Dell gardens is just $5 for parking with free admission. It is on October 29th from 11-3 featuring trick or treating, a pumpkin carving contest, Magic show (2pm) and more.

BOONANZA at the Louisville Science Center: Free with admission
October 29-30, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Zapped back to life by popular demand is BOONANZA, full of science tricks and treats. Activities include making wearable scabs and blisters, slime making, mummifying apples, giant spider webs, touchable organs and more!
