We were there to see Jack Frost Saves Christmas  The doors open at noon and the show starts at 1:15. We were coming from a Cub Scout Event so we ended up arriving more like 12:20. Having been to a show before I honestly preferred arriving a bit later. It kept the wiggles at bay and we finished eating just in time to order dessert and the show to begin!

The lunch buffet has lots of kid-friendly foods like, mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, and corn dogs. Don’t worry mom and dad they were carving turkey, to go along with mashed potatoes, green beans and carrots.

Santa is also present at every show from now until Christmas, and he stopped by the table long enough to say hello and hand my son a slap bracelet. He was very excited to see Santa!

The play was a musical with upbeat songs and engaging characters. My son especially got a kick out of the part of the play where Santa loses his pants.
I realized while watching the show that I hadn’t read the story of Jack Frost to my kids. While that didn’t take anything away from the play I would encourage reading it with the kids before going. Mainly because I was wracking my brain the whole time trying to remember the story!

We had a great time on our Mother and Son date! Jack Frost Saves Christmas is running through December 21.
