PhotobucketLouisville Ballet School - Summer Dance Programs June 11 – July 13
Introduce your child to dance with arts, crafts and new friends! Louisville Ballet School offers workshops designed to develop coordination, musicality, and kinetic awareness, as well as instill a love for dance and the arts.

Children (ages 3-5) will discover an exciting mix of creative dance, arts and crafts, and narrative storytelling through movement – all inspired by the wonderful world around us.

Children (ages 6-8) will explore a blend of creative dance and pre-ballet exercises along with visual art projects to discover the art of storytelling through dance while sharing in the traditions of the full-length classical ballets.

Students (ages 8-13) with prior dance experience will discover the art of storytelling through dance while learning traditional folk dances, repertoire from full-length classical ballets, and dance styles including modern, character dance, Flamenco, and Pilates.

Students (ages 11-16) with previous dance training will experience the exciting life of a professional dancer - joining in the grand tradition of classical ballet by learning repertoire from full-length classical ballets as well as exploring contemporary dance styles to enhance strength and versatility.

All classes take place in our St. Matthews studios. Summer Dance Programs fill up quickly so register now to reserve your child’s place in class. Register via email to school@louisvilleballet.org, by fax to (502) 583-0006, in-person at our studios or by mail.
