Things to do this weekend in and around Louisville February

No video this week!  I usually shoot them on Thursday night and after a really fun, long day at the New Albany YMCA of Southern Indiana, I was in pajamas super early last night!

But, I can still definitely type in my PJs so, here's my picks for things to do this weekend.

Friday-Sunday:  Definitely head to the YMCA for free!  I went to the Floyd County branch in New Albany and the kids and I spend 4 hours there and had so much fun (and they went to bed early because of it=BONUS!).  Swam in the main pool, kid pool, toured the facilities, played in the gym and had a snack. The kids splash area is SO NICE, but check the schedule because I read it incorrectly and I thought it was open when "open swim" took place, but it was not- it's listed on the website, not the PDF schedule.   I brought food and we at at one of the many tables downstairs.  You will need to take a moment at the beginning to fill out forms and need a photo id.  Check out their calendar to plan your visit since you can participate in any of their classes and use any of the facilities free but they are not all going all of the time!  The times are HERE.

Saturday:  Derby Diner Playhouse kicks off their new children's theatre show, How I Became a Pirate.  The shows are on the 2/25,3/3,3/10,3/17 and 3/24.  Doors open at 9 for the breakfast show and noon for the lunch show.  Check out their website for ticket information and details.

Sunday: Head to Sweet n Swirly on Breckenridge Ln for an afternoon treat and "Magic Hour" by Steve-O Magic   I'll be there and might just have some little giveaways for you if you say howdy! Details for the event are in the photo!

Have a fabuLOUs weekend!
