AUGUST! Back to school! State Fair!  Bring it on! But.....not quite yet.......

Besides hitting some back to school sales this weekend, what else is going on around town? You came to the right place, here's our LouFamFun picks but remember, there's more choices on the calendar.

How about a good old county fair?  The Oldham County Fair has been going on all week and is still going strong today and Saturday.  It may seem like a crazy admission price ($10 in the afternoon) but that includes the rides. Usually you have to pay some admission + rides so it's not too bad.  If you don't care about the rides, it does open earlier on Saturday with a lower admission price. I've never been so I don't know what exactly there is to do, if you check it out, let us know!

FREE! If it rains this weekend and you're looking for some indoor activities, the Green Tree Mall in Clarksville is having a tasty event called the Chocolate Blues Shopping Festival (Friday and Saturday)  You shop, sample chocolates at vendor tables and listen to some blues music.  This mall also has a small play area indoors for young children.

PhotobucketFREE! Friday is the first Friday of the month so it's the First Friday Trolley Hop downtown along the Main/Market corridor. This is a great time to hop on and off for free from 5-11pm (free parking on the street after 6pm).And, they said on their Facebook page that they will be at Clay and Market St. or 7th and Main St. with some opportunities to win prizes!

FREE! Friday night is Cards Under the Stars!  It's the Lion King, here our review with links for details.

Whatever you do this weekend, have a fabuLOUs time!
