The Worlds Largest Halloween Party is at the Zoo and runs pretty much the entire month of October. If you have a membership, you can get into this event free on limited days.
Little Goblins Galore - October 5-28th at Iroqouis Park. Friday-Sunday 5-8:30pm - cost is $8 Spooky stations, treats, bouncies and more.
Halloween Harvest Party at the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve. October 6th from 4-8pm.
On Thursdays & Sundays last year the Grim Tales Haunted Attraction had a friendly haunted maze - (no monsters, not too dark) for kids 10 & under. Kids can walk the maze with their parents & trick or treat. $5 per child--parents free! They haven't updated their website yet for 2012.
The Caufields Halloween Parade is on October 12th at 7pm on Baxter Ave and full of interesting costumes and lots of tossed candy - bring a bag for the kids. FREE
The La Grange Fire Department is hosting Oldham County's largest Safety and Halloween Festival on October 13th from 5-9pm. Free trick-or-treating and more! Children will have access to a fire safety house to learn how to escape a smoky room, fingerprinting, several police cars for the children to see & sit inside, ambulances & several fire trucks to explore- all at the Oldham County Fairgrounds
October 12th & 13th you can see old school fright night movies on the lawn at the Mary. T. Meagher Aquatic Center. They start at 9pm and are FREE.
Sunny Acres farm is having a pumpkin festival on October 20th from noon-6pm. Pumpkins for sale to carve, hay rides, petting farm barnyard area and for $5, there is an 11 acre corn maze. FREE admission
The Bass Pro Shop has Halloween freebies starting starting October 19th through October 31st. Check out their website for full details for dates and times!

They are setting up a Zombie Park at Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center. It opens at 9pm and it's $6 for adults and $3 for kids under the age of 12.
