Things to do this weekend around Louisville - October 5,6,7

I'm finishing the week with a school trip with my son's kindergarten class. Our very first school trip! His little body is bursting in anticipation. I will take a excessive number of photos.

For the weekend, there's a lot of fall activities. I'll just highlight a few so check our calendar above for more options!

All Weekend-  The well known St. James Court Art Show takes place this weekend. We recently published a review so you can read about how it is indeed family friendly.  Old Louisville is just a beautiful area of our city, definitely worth checking out if you have never been!

Saturday- We're going to explore the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve for their Haunted Hike event. There's a mix of free activities and those you pay for. I don't mind paying since it is a fundraiser for them. Last year, they used an event company and it didn't go well but this year, I think it's going to be great. Can't wait to report back to you all.

Sunday - Starting at 10am, The Parklands is hosting the Kentucky Science Center Harvest Festival.  It's free and the first 200 participants get a free pumpkin for decorating! It runs until 3pm.

The Louisville Zoo Halloween festivities start this weekend as well!

Have a great weekend, take a moment to just appreciate the changing colors of the season and breath the crisp fall air!
