Friday
 
Sauerbeck Family Drive In will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and Movies this Friday (and Saturday).  Guests can hunt for eggs with their family any time between 6:30 and 8:00pm with Kung Fu Panda 4 starting at 8:15pm.

It’s Fish Fry Season and that means it’s time for a fish fry round up. Spend time at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for a fish sandwich or pick one of the dozens of other locations listed in our post!

Saturday
 
The Dwight Chamberlain Raptor Rehab Center at Hardy Lake will bring raptors from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM to the Falls of the Ohio. A variety of activities will be led with park volunteers inside the Interpretive Center. 


Meet the teachers, view a demonstration by current students and learn to dance an Irish Jig just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!  Open to kids ages 5-13. Online registration required. Saturday, 4pm


Enter a magical, hidden world at Jefferson Memorial Forest, where creatures of the imagination live. Bring your children on an enchanted hike in search of forest fairies living among the wildflowers and trees. Along the way, your child may use their creativity to make a fairy house of natural materials. 10:00am-12:30pm


Save the date and join Kentucky Shakespeare for one of the five Saturday performances of their two-actor, hour-long Romeo & Juliet for young audiences & families! South Central Regional Library: Saturday, March 16 at 2:00 pm


Get ready for an EGGciting adventure at the Louisville Zoo by joining our mobile Safari EGGventure starting Saturday, March 16! It’s an EGGcelent opportunity visit the Zoo and win prizes like a Zoo membership, Wild Lights tickets, plush animals and more! FREE with Zoo admission.


Sunday

Get ready to sham-rock at Depot Days: St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Sunday, from 1pm to 4pm at The Depot at NoCo!  Kids can enjoy face painting, arts & crafts, inflatables, and even participate in their Little Leprechaun Pageant – so dress them up for the occasion!


Spend some time at the Speed Art Museum on Sunday. Thanks to a generous contribution from Brown-Forman, general admission is FREE for all on Sundays through 2024. The free Sunday admission is named in honor of the late Owsley Brown II. 


Extras
 
Check out Little Crooked Creek Safari in Shelby County. They are open 2-6pm on Sunday. Feed and interact with so many animals. An up-close experience for a petting zoo and with exotic animals. 20.00 for adults, 15.00 for kids, 2 and under are free – all your feed for each animal is included. 1430 Little Crooked Creek Rd. Lawrenceburg, Ky. 40342. Cash and cards accepted.

The Main Library and Highlands-Shelby Park Library join South Central Regional with their newly established collection of board games and puzzles now available for checkout! Puzzles can be checked out for 21 days, and renewed 3 times. Board games can be checked out for 7 days (no renewals). These puzzles and games do not float, so please return them to the Library where they were checked out.
