Things to do this weekend around Louisville - September 13,14,15

Eeeeeek! It's Friday the 13th!!!  I just had to post that because it's cliche. I don't really get into that stuff.  What's going on this weekend? It's the height of family fun in Louisville. September and October are huge months in our area for all sorts of options that at times, it's actually overwhelming. That's when you stop, reflect and thank LouisvilleFamilyFun.net for making things so easy for you to find.  You're welcome and note, I like lattes and chocolate if you want to send gifts.

Be sure to bookmark our FALL FESTIVAL post and HALLOWEEN post so you don't miss things!
And, there are consignment sales this weekend if you want to scope out the deals.

Here are my picks for the weekend....even more choices on the calendar above!

Friday
How about taking in a University of Louisville men's soccer game?  You know, this university has more sports to watch than football and basketball. My kids are playing soccer now so we are taking them for some family fun to watch a real game! They play at 7pm on Friday. Ticket info here, kids 2 and under are free, kids 3-18 are just $3 and adult tickets are $5.

Saturday
It's Archaeology Day at Falls of the Ohio - 9:30-4pm. Here's a flyer with all of the details (it's from 2012 but they said it's all the same).  I love Falls of the Ohio and what a glorious weather day to be out there.

The Hermitage Classic is a free horse competition to enjoy in Goshen.  It starts at 10am on Saturday and finishes up at 3pm. There are kids activities, petting zoo, pony carriage rides and food vendors! Plus, you get to see the races at a really nice farm

Sunday
A free movie at Iroquois Amphitheatre - "A Christmas Story 2"- starting at 8:30pm (doors open at 7:30). It's FREE. Head to the park before the movie, bring a picnic dinner and make an evening of it!

Have a fabuLOUs weekend,
Stephanie
