Things to do this weekend around Louisville - November 15,16,17

Do you have hot coffee in hand? I really love my hot coffee when I see weather temps dipping below 30!  I believe winter is a'coming!  So, what's there to do?

Check out the Kids Eat Free VIP Card -  Help us support Kentucky Harvest.  We will donate a portion of the revenue from this card to their organization to help feed local families in need.

Check out this LouFamFun podcast on Louisville.am - One of our popular posts recently has been Maggie's Top 10 Things to Do Indoors for the winter or rainy days.  We chat about it in this podcast.

Light Up Westport Village is from 6-8pm. We went last year and had a really fun time!

Not ready to kick the holiday season into full gear?  Go to the Rauch Planetarium to see Perfect Little Planet at 8pm. This show is so great, I love the planetarium!  Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for kids.  Combine education with entertainment - for the win!

It's the first big holiday event around town, the Festival of Trees and Lights.  See all holiday event options here.  Saturday from 10am-6pm is a great day to go because there are children's activities.

If you want to get the kids all snazzy and take them to learn some manners, The Oakroom is having "Mind Your Ps and Qs" at 6pm.  It's an upscale learning experience for children ages 7-12 with dinner, $35.  Call now if you want to try to get reservations for your children.

Update!! Per their Facebook page - this event has been cancelled.
Head to the Uspiritus Feed the Spirit Homecoming - a free outdoor event from 2-5pm. There will be food trucks, kids activities, live music and more. Details here. It's at the Uspiritus Bellewood campus at 11103 Park Road, Anchorage, KY

Have a fabuLOUs weekend, I am headed to the Galt House to preview all of their festive family fun - possibly there will be something in store for you next week as a result.  Just remember the word 'jingle' - trust me ;)
