Are you on Spring Break?  I bet you are looking for some fun for the weekend to finish it off right!

First, save the date for May 17th. It's our next Louisville Family Fun Experience Series Event.  Tickets will go on sale in late April.

Here are my picks for the weekend:

Friday: Bernheim is having Spring Break Adventure week. It's from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for daily nature programs and guided hikes, as well as on-your-own hiking, fishing, picnicking, wildlife viewing and opportunities for free play at their Children’s Play Garden – not to mention the fields, forests and creeks you are welcome to roam! It's FREE

Saturday: Have some "late" night family fun at The Parklands of Floyds Fork starting at 8pm. At W.F. Miles Community Garden in Beckley Creek Park they will have an exploration of the night sky! They are partnering with the Louisville Astronomical Society (LAS)so there will be telescopes to discover constellations, planets, star clusters, double stars and the moon. How cool!! It's FREE to Parklands Members/ $5 for non-members.

Sunday: It's fun fun fun at the Kentucky Science Center for the little ones to explore counting and numbers. They are having a special workshop for kids ages 3-5 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. It's $10 for 1 non-member children & 1 adult, $5 for additional non-member persons; $7 for 1 member child & 1 adult, $3 for additional member persons.

Those are the picks for each day, but OF COURSE, there's so much more on our calendar!
