Friday
Get the plants you need for your home garden at Riverside’s Annual Plant & Herb Sale, featuring: annuals, perennials, herbs, and vegetables from 3-7pm! Plus, you can get a “sneak peak” of their summer farmers’ market by shopping with some of their market vendors at the plant sale. (This is happening Saturday as well).

In celebration of National Drop Everything and Read Day, Foxing Books is inviting you to take a break, have a taco, and read your book on the patio! This is a family friendly event and all are invited. 3:00-6:00pm
 

The Louisville Bats return home for a six-game homestand! Check out the weekly promotions they’ll have all season long, on top of the packed weekend they have in store for you!

Saturday
 
Want to shop for unique items — crafts, clothing, jewelry, antiques, furniture, farmer’s market items, yard sale items, flea market items — you name it, you will find it. Get shopping at the Middletown Unique Bazaar from 10am-4pm.


The Puppy Palooza, which helps to support Kentucky Humane Society, will return to Westport Village on Saturday from 11am-2pm, presented by Three Dog Bakery!


TreeFest is Louisville’s annual Arbor Day celebration that provides community members with information on the role trees play in our lives through creative, informative, and fun-filled activities and events for people of all ages. 


Get ready — the folks at The Alcove and Bad Cat Boutique are prepping for round 3 of Spring Street Fest! Visit from 12:00-10:00pm at the 200 Block of Spring Street to celebrate the amazing community. They’ll have food trucks, local art vendors, live music, and more at this FREE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY STREET FAIR.


Sunday

The Kentucky Derby Festival is once again partnering with the Louisville Bicycle Club to produce the PNC Tour de Lou. The 11th annual PNC Tour de Lou is a unique way to explore Louisville on two wheels while passing through some of the city’s scenic parks, neighborhoods and historic sites, including Churchill Downs (home of the Kentucky Derby), with cyclists from all across the country.


Spend some time at the Speed Art Museum on Sunday. Thanks to a generous contribution from Brown-Forman, general admission is FREE for all on Sundays through 2024. The free Sunday admission is named in honor of the late Owsley Brown II.

Check out Little Crooked Creek Safari in Shelby County. They are open 2-6pm on Sunday. Feed and interact with so many animals. An up-close experience for a petting zoo and with exotic animals. 20.00 for adults, 15.00 for kids, 2 and under are free – all your feed for each animal is included. 1430 Little Crooked Creek Rd. Lawrenceburg, Ky. 40342. Cash and cards accepted.

The Main Library and Highlands-Shelby Park Library join South Central Regional with their newly established collection of board games and puzzles now available for checkout! Puzzles can be checked out for 21 days, and renewed 3 times. Board games can be checked out for 7 days (no renewals). These puzzles and games do not float, so please return them to the Library where they were checked out.
