Head to VIPS (Visually Impaired Preschool) for Friday Friends. They host this every Friday from 10am-Noon through July 24th. Families with kids ages birth-6 are welcome. They have a wonderful Kosair Kids Town that's fun for playtime, a sensory room, aplayground and garden! $5/child (max $10/family) suggested donation to support their services!

History is alive at Family Farm & Forage Day. A new free event at Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing  from 10 am to 4 pm. They'll have a variety of children’s activities, workshops, talks and booths along with a farm animal petting zoo, Doesn't this sound fun: Bluegrass Betsy the Cow (milking demonstration), horse-drawn wagon tours of the historic farm site, and tours of the historic Farnsley-Moremen House (1/2 price).

Sunday 

Family Adventure Day at Churchill Downs - get your tickets in advance to save $2 per ticket.  It's a day of racing - fun for Father's Day - and LOTS of activities for the kids to keep them occupied and everyone happy.  See details here.
