There is still so much summer fun to be had, get out there and enjoy it!

Here are my picks for the week:

Live it: Thursday, August 20th is Carload day at the Kentucky State Fair. Pay only $20 for an entire vehicle until 5 p.m., includes parking. Buses (16 passengers or more) and motor coaches are $200, parking included. Does not apply to school and group tours. Only available at the gate. Find out more here!

Eat it: Head over to Waffle House (M-F) from 2-9pm for kids eat free at participating Waffle Houses, with a minimum $6 adult purchase.Call ahead to make sure your nearest location participates!

Move it: Go for a horse back ride or lesson. Here are a few stables to choose from! McNeely Lake Riding Stables, Webb's Pond Creek Stables, and Stonehurst Riding Center.

Learn it: On Wednesday at 10:30am, PossibiliTours Walking Tours provide historical and architectural anecdotes about Possibility City, while exploring the heart of downtown Louisville on foot. You’ll tour Fourth Street, Whiskey Row, Museum Row on Main and the civic district. A local volunteer leads you on a free, 90-minute walking tour (weather permitting) that departs from the Louisville Visitors Center, Fourth and Jefferson streets. Tours cover about 10 blocks.Advanced reservations are required. Call the Louisville Visitors Center at 502-379-6109 one day in advance to reserve your spot. Tours are subject to change due to weather and availability.
