We went on a Wednesday night and had a 15-20 minute wait for a table. They took our cell phone number and promised to send us a text when our table would be ready. We went down a few doors to Books and Music Exchange to browse while we waited which worked out well.
Stout Burgers and Beers is small and tables are close together but we didn’t feel like we were intruding on the table next to us or vice versa. It was loud, but not so loud that you couldn’t hear your table mate.
My husband was super excited to try the wide beer assortment and really enjoyed a Dragon’s Milk (bottled) and a chocolate stout (draft). I am not a huge beer fan so I opted for a cider and tried Pitchfork (a Sonoma cider) and really liked the pear flavor it had. The food was really good as well! I ordered the Goombah Burger (parmesan flakes, smoked mozzarella, crispy prosciutto, and lemon basil aioli) with onion rings and my husband had the Stout Burger (blue cheese, emi gruyere, rosemary bacon, caramelized onions, horseradish cream, and roasted tomatoes) with fries.
Our bill wasn’t too expensive and we had a really nice time enjoying some yummy food kid-free! I would highly recommend Stout Burgers and Beers for a date night or a girl’s night out. Stout is located at 1604 Bardstown Rd and can be found on Facebook here!
