12 FREE Things to do in July 2016 in and around Louisville

Fourth of July Events – Tons of FREE activities to celebrate Independence Day!

Various July Dates, beginning July 1st – Will in the Ville at Central Park. Catch different Shakespeare shows, most shows 8-10pm.

Through July 24th – Family Summer Camp at Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville. Various activities, demos and crafts. Click the link for a full schedule.

July 2nd - Fleur de Flea Vintage Urban Market at Waterfront Park. 10-5pm.

July 2nd & 3rd – Charlestown State Park 4th of July Weekend Programs. There is a parking fee at the park, but all of the activities are free. Family-friendly hikes, scavenger hunts and guided tours! Activities beginning at 10am.

July 6th – Beat the Heat Ice Cream Party at Skyview Park. 6-8pm.

July 9th – Arby’s Carnival at the Park at Ray Jewell Memorial Park in Taylorsville. 10-3pm.

July 9th & 10th – Corydon Capital Days at Harrison County Fairgrounds. Various events during the 2 days.

July 16 – Minions at Iroquois Amphitheater. Seating opens at 7:30pm & movie starts at 8:30pm.

July 23rd & 24th – The Flea Circus! The Flea Off Market at Turners! Circus performances, food, sports, vendors and more! 11am-7pm.

July 28th – Kites & Classical at Waterfront Park on the Great Lawn. 6-10pm.

July 30th – Peach Jam Festival & 5k at Mulberry Orchard. FREE festival is 10-5pm.

July 31st – Launch Party for “Wally Does Not Want a Haircut” at Carmichael’s Bookstore. Food, refreshments and fun for kids. 2-3pm.
