Review of Craft Group at Dee’s Crafts in Louisville, KY

(If you’ve never been to Dee’s, then you are not from around here. Dee’s is an awesome store full of crafts, fixings for Derby hats, decor, gifts, and more. It’s amazing!)

You and your friends can call up and reserve the space, bring food and drinks, and have staff handy if you get in trouble for a great craft party! All they ask is that you buy your materials there, don’t bring alcohol, and leave by closing (we struggled with #3).

Our group chose to make burlap or mesh wreaths for our front doors. The attentive and knowledgeable staff helped us pick out our basics and accessories. Then we realized we had no idea what we were doing. Luckily the Dee’s staff was there to help. They walked us through the basics, then came back and walked us through the rest. I cannot thank them enough for all their help!

I highly recommend this option for girls nights, family activities, church groups, and friends get togethers. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 5 and 7pm you can go to Dee’s to learn a new skill or get help with a previous project. There are no class fees and no reservations needed – you only pay for supplies used. Check their calendar for specifics.
