Review of Crosby Park By: Stephanie

Crosby Park is a small park not far off of Shelbyville Road in Middletown.  Mainly, it is dedicated to sports recreation, but it does have other things to offer.  My kids really enjoyed out morning outing and picnic at this cute park.
It has several baseball fields that are used for little league. It also has a small picnic shelter and tennis courts.  We started out day with some fun at the playground. The play structure is in great shape and good for a variety of ages.  There are several swings, both baby swings and regular swings.
After the playgrounds, we took out wiffle balls and bats out to one of the fields and enjoyed a nice pick-up game with some of the other children at the park. It was a really great time of pretend home-runs and jumping on bases! It was a pretty warm day and we were happy to find a refreshing water fountain at the centrally located building that also housed bathrooms and a concession stand for when little league is in session.  After the game, we went back to find shade under one of the many big trees and enjoyed some lunch. After, we climbed a tree or two and climbed around some more at the playground.
This park is simple and just enough for a morning out or grab an ice cream at the nearby DQ and go with the family for a little baseball game in the evening.
