Review of Floral Grind Florist and Coffeehouse

photo IMG_1472_zpsuetdg5xt.jpgAfter hearing a lot of positive reviews from fellow parents and teachers at my son’s school we decided to check out Floral Grind Florist and Coffeehouse over the Holiday break. It was a slow day for them and we were the only customers there at first. We spent some time browsing through all the fun decorations, knick knacks, jewelry, and scarves that were on display/for sale before making our way to the menu wall. We arrived around Noon but were told that both breakfast and lunch items were available.

My six year old decided on a ham and cheese sandwich and I tried a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, both as box lunches. My Mom decided on soup and a ½ sandwich. The box lunches came with a full sandwich, side (today’s options included potato salad or white chili), chips, and a cookie. We had a lot of food and we were all stuffed by the time we were done. Their menu changes at times (mostly their soups and sides) and can be found on their Facebook page.

Since the Floral Grind is also a coffee shop we made sure to try some drinks along with our food. The frozen hot chocolate went over well with my son and The Grind latte (salted caramel and white chocolate) was tasty.

On top of being a café and coffee shop, the Floral Grind also offers flowers! Give them a call if you need a delivery for a friend or whatever your needs may be.
