Review of Sweet Savannah’s

Since opening in Jeffersontown, my family and I have visited Sweet Savannah’s three times, and we love it! I truly enjoy Jeffersontown and I have been impressed with how many local businesses have popped up and stayed in the area. The downtown Gaslight square area is really becoming a walking/eatery area. We love walking to the center of town to find a quick bite to eat, a drink on a date night, or dessert from a froyo shop such as Sweet Savannah’s.

Sweet Savannah’s Frozen Yogurt & Toppings is a small and cozy frozen yogurt shop situated on Taylorsville Road near the heart of Jeffersontown. It’s within walking distance to many restaurants, including RecBar, newly renovated Bearno’s, El Nopal, Mac’s Dough House, Papa John’s Pizza, Jtown Beach, and a new site for Feast BBQ (coming eventually). The froyo shop offers about 8 flavors, and the nice thing is you pay one price for your size cup and can fill it with whatever and how much you want! There is no pay for weight ratio. Some of the flavors rotate, but chocolate, country vanilla, cake batter, and banana are usually offered. The toppings range from fresh berries and granola/nuts to chocolate chips and every kind of candy in between! Top your froyo off with hot fudge, caramel, or whipped cream! They always offer a non-dairy, sugar-free, and vegan option as well.
