Where can kids learn archery in Louisville?
Does your child have a newfound interest in a learning archery? Maybe even you do? E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park archery in Louisville lessons that are affordable. You have to act fast to get a spot because they fill up quickly. You must fill out a registration form send it back to the appropriate email so we can get you signed up and ready to shoot! These programs do tend to fill up fast. The quickest way to get a spot is to call and register and pay for an open spot.
They have beginner archery lessons available throughout the year. They do not have online registration so you have to watch their social media or get on their email list. Click the image for the downloadable form. Families can learn together or there are sessions just for kids.

E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park is opening their Activities Building for explore archery Sunday, March 20, 2002 from 1pm-4pm for anyone wanting to practice archery or that wants to try out shooting archery. There will be NASP Certified Instructors in attendance to give a quick lesson. They will have equipment available for use and it is $5 per person to shoot. There isn’t any pre-registration required, simply drop in any time between the available hours!

They follow the rules of the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP).
In past years, Jefferson Memorial Forest has also offered an archery in Louisville program where children over the age of 8 can learn to shoot a bow and arrow.
Another option to get involved with Archery is through your local 4-H. Contact the archery programs and clubs with the Cooperative Extension Office in Jefferson County. Call 502-569-2344 for more information. There is also a 4-H Shooting Sports Program with the Oldham County Extension Office; 502-222-9453 or 502-222-1983.
Also, National Tournament with NASP often takes place in Louisville. This is a fun event for participating but also learning more about the sport.
