Free and ticketed events are happening all around town in celebration of Mother’s Day. Check out our list and treat mom to something fun.

What fun things are there to do for Mother’s Day in Louisville?

Belle of Louisville: Set your sights on a relaxing Sightseeing Cruise! Whether you join us aboard the charming Mary M. Miller or the historic Belle of Louisville, a cruise up the Ohio River is the perfect opportunity to sit back, relax, and take in the sights along the Ohio River with Mom.

Frazier History Museum: Take Mom to check out the many exhibits going on right now including West of Ninth, The Spirit of Kentucky, and Cool Kentucky!

Pop into any Sunergos Coffee location in Louisville and moms get a free drink of their choice. Love these local shops showing some love for moms!

Joe Huber’s Family Farm and Restaurant: Mother’s Day Buffet ($24.99 ages 12+, $12.99 kids 4-11). 11:00am – 7:00pm. Reservations strongly recommended by calling 812-923-5255. 

The Louisville Zoo: Celebrate Mom by treating her to Mother’s Day at the Zoo! Free Zoo admission for moms on this special day! Or, take Mom to see Wild Lights, the special event happening now at the Zoo. Enjoy a fun day outdoors as you spend family time with the animal families at the Zoo. 

Mother’s Day Brunch at Huber’s Orchard & Winery – Sunday, two seating times are available, at 11:00am and 12:30pm.

Mother’s Day Breakfast at Sellersburg Moose Family Center: Breakfast provided by LOOM from 9:00am – 11:00am. *members/qualified guests only

Mother’s Day Brunch at River House Restaurant and Raw Bar: 11:00am – 3:00pm. Reservations: 502-897-5000

Mother’s Day Market: Visit the Sunflower Market at Lambrecht Farm in Bedford IN. Antique, boutique, handmade and vintage vendors, petting zoo, live music and food trucks.

Mother’s Day Virtual 5k, 10k & half marathon run/walk: Sign up to conquer a 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon between now and Mother’s Day and get the commemorative Mother’s Day or Mom Strong gear mailed right to your door. The commemorative shirt is included with registration. Add on the commemorative finisher medal for $9.99 extra! Registration is $40.

Radisson Hotel Louisville North (Clarksville, IN): Mother’s Day Lunch from 11:00am-3:00pm

Shakespeare in the Parks Tour: Presenting Julius Caesar at 2:00pm at Broad Run Park and 6:30pm at Norton Commons. This is a FREE family-friendly event and super fun for Mother’s day in Louisville!

Waterfront Botanical Gardens: Floral Bow Ties & Flower Crowns workshop is Wednesday, May 4 from 6:30 – 8:00pm. $25 for members and $32 for non-members.

Wild Lights at the Louisville Zoo: See the Zoo in a whole new light as you enjoy one of the largest lantern festivals in the nation. Begins at 6:30pm. Advance tickets are required for all guests and members. General admission for ages 3 and up is $20/person (members $17). Family 4 pack $65 ($55 for members). $6 parking fee.
