Kentucky Science Center has a membership level that will allow even more people to access Kentucky Science Center. It’s the new Community Access Membership! This membership provides a free family membership to families participating in the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) or the Women Infants Children (WIC) supplemental nutrition program.
“Kentucky Science Center wants everyone to be able to Do Science with us,” said Mike Norman, Kentucky Science Center Chief Executive Officer. “Removing barriers to access offers everyone the promise of curiosity, creativity, and innovation. Our goal is to inspire everyone to be a life-long learner, which leads to a better quality of life for all.”
The good news is: SNAP/WIC cards from any state will be accepted for the Community Access Membership.
How do you get this membership?
Fill out this form or head into the Kentucky Science Center and ask them for an application. You will need to show proof of WIC/SNAP so be sure you have your card handy when filling out the form.
What does it include?
Membership for up to 2 adults and up to 8 children (or grandchildren) ages 2-18. Also, 2 one-time use passes for others. Membership benefits cover children living in the household.
