September 30-October 2

St. James Court Art Show – A juried fine arts and contemporary crafts show featuring over 600 artists from around the U.S. held among the country’s largest collection of Victorian homes in the heart of historic Old Louisville. This 4-square block, outdoor art show takes place annually on the first weekend of October, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Steamboat Nights – Jeffersonville’s glow up festival takes over Big Four Station Park with a Family Fun Zone, rides, Balloon Glimmer, and more fun for October events in Louisville! 

October 1
Once Upon an Orchestra – Families are invited to join Louisville Orchestra ensembles at the Southwest Library for a fun, interactive storytelling through music performance of popular children’s stories. 2:00-3:00pm
 
Portland Art & Heritage Fair – This is the 9th year of
exhibiting and promoting all the creativity and history pouring out of our little bend in the river. This year, our theme is Full Circle. Booths, tours, art workshops, musical performances, and more. 12:00pm

Harvest Homecoming – Booths, food, rides, car shows, parades and more are plentiful during this fall festival in New Albany.

October 6
UofL Women’s Soccer – Free Admission to their game against Clemson on Women in Sports Day, 7:00pm at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium.

October 8
Asian Night Market – 4th Street Live from 7:00-10:00pm, will feature food trucks with delicious, authentic cuisine from various Asian countries, energetic performances, and retail vendors from the continent as well. 
 
Free Kid’s Day at the Market – East End Farmer’s Market, 13060 Factory Ln, Louisville, KY 40245, from 2:00-5:00pm. 

October 9
UofL Women’s Soccer – Free Admission to their game against Boston College. Cancer Awareness and Family Fun Day, 12:00pm, at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. College soccer is great for October events in Louisville.
 

October 15

Paristown FleaLocated outdoors in the historic district of Paristown in Louisville, Kentucky near the “The Cafe” and the indoor Fleur de Flea Warehouse. Special Needs Trunk or Treat – Park Community Credit Union & FEAT of Louisville present the 6th Annual Trunk or Treat for special needs. Halloween October events in Louisville are great! This FREE event will be filled with festive decorations, costumes and plenty of treats. We welcome all special needs individuals and their families to join in on the fun. 3:00-7:00pm


October 15-16
14th Annual Via Colori Street Painting Festival – We will have live music, vendors, family-friendly activities, a food court, bar and of course, street art. Via Colori is a family and pet friendly event that is free for the public to attend.

Market on Mellwood Fall Festival – Join us for the last Market on Mellwood for 2022 as you stroll through the Mellwood Art Center courtyard shopping from local talented artisans. October 27
UofL Women’s Soccer – Free Admission to their game against North Carolina. Senior Day/Trick or Treat in Your Seat, 6:00pm, at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium.

October 29
Halloween MAINia – Join us for trick-or-treating at participating businesses in Historic Downtown La Grange! We will have booths with activities and the Candy Swap Shop for children who need to can swap out their candy for other treats.
