Over the years Trunk or Treats has become more and more popular and we want to share with you the best around Louisville.

Trunk or Treats aims to provide a safe environment for trick-or-treaters on or around Halloween.

Trunk or Treats involve a community coming together in a parking lot, either on the 31st or shortly before, so that children can trick-or-treat out of the decorated trunks of their cars. Some places will also have games for kids, extra treats (besides candy), and some fun for the adults too. Find out where you can take your kids this year for safe trunk or treat fun.

October 15

Park Community Credit Union & FEAT of Louisville present the 5th annual Trunk or Treat for Special Needs. This FREE event will be filled with festive decorations, costumes and plenty of treats. We welcome all special needs individuals and their families to join in on the fun. No matter your age or ability, this event is for you, 3:00-7:00pm.

Trunk or Treat at Sauerback Drive-in – 6:30pm, $25 per car! This includes Trunk or Treating and a family friendly Halloween Movie!

Trick or Treat at Lindsay’s Kitchen – 2:00-6:00pm, Costume fun, candy, raffles, and more

Trunk or Treat – 4:00-7:00pm, Mary T. Meager Aquatic Center. Games, prizes, inflatables, Free!

Trunk or Treat – 3:00pm, Community Credit Union’s annual Trunk or Treat is being held at 2515 Blankenbaker Parkway.

Halloween in Highview Park – 4:00-7:00pm, trick or treat with LMPD 7th Division

October 21

Valley Sports Trunk or Treat – at 6:00pm.

The Southeast Family YMCA will be hosting a Trunk or Treat from 5pm-7pm with games and prizes for kids. 5930 Six Mile Ln.

October 22

3rd Annual Jim Butner Auto Trunk or Treat – 6:00pm. Don’t miss out on our 3rd annual trunk-or-treat! Free to attend and fun for the whole family!! Candy, cars, music, food…plus our showroom has had a ghostly makeover.

TRUNK or TREAT 9405 Smyrna Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40229, 1:00pm. Dress up your vehicles, dress in costume, hand out candy to kids. Car clubs are welcome. Plenty of space.

Trunk or Treat – New Albany annual event is back, 5:00-8:00pm, at New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater. Bring the whole family out for games, ghost stories, magician, inflatables, and more

East End Farmer’s Market Trick or Treat – 2:00-5:00pm

Trunk or Treat – 4:00-5:00pm, Hurstbourne Christian Church, Bring your kiddos out for some candy in the church parking lot.

October 23

Trunk or Treat – 4:00-6:00pm, Cardinal Stadium Bronze Lot, 2800 S Floyd St. Candy, games, snacks, spooky music and a costume contest, Free! First 250 attendees will receive a free kids meal token from Texas Roadhouse!

St. Anthansius Trunk or Treat – 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Wear your costume, decorate your trunk and join us for a scary good time!

Trunk or Treat returns to Middletown United Methodist Church – This is a fun, FREE, safe and family friendly event where kids and those young at heart can trick or treat out of decorated trunks. So get your costumes ready and come out for a fun evening. 4:00-5:30pm.

Fest-O-Ween at Paddock Shops – 2:00-4:00pm, Enjoy trick-or-treating, children’s activities and a FREE pumpkin with a $10 receipt from any Paddock Shops retailer (while supplies last).

Southend Proud Trunk or Treat – 6:00-8:00pm, Stomping Grounds Coffee Co.

Trunk or Treat – 5:00pm, Join us for dinner (opens at 4:30pm) and Trunk or Treat at St. Peter the Apostle. We will have Food Trucks available to purchase dinner throughout the event.

October 26

Trunk or Treat with LMPD– LMPD’s Youth Advisory Council has organized a safe Trunk or Treat event from 6pm to 8pm. We look forward to meeting the community and can’t wait to see the kids in their costumes. 2911 Taylor Blvd.

October 29

Khalil’s Trunk or Treat 3:00-6:00pm. Bring the family out to spend the afternoon trick or treating, enjoying live Dj, Bouncy houses, fire trucks, and so much more!

BIG Church Trunk or Treat– 4:00pm-6:00pm. Candy, games, chili cook-off, and more!

Okolona VFW Post 8639 Trunk or Treat – October 29, Noon, 4205 Lambert Rd, Louisville KY 40219. Trunk or Treat 12 till 3pm. Stone Groove Band starting at 7pm. come dance the night away!

Trunk or Treat at Christi’s Cafe – 5:00-9:00pm, Put on your favorite Halloween Costume & Come join in all the fun for our Annual Halloween Party & Trunk-or-Treat.

Portland Promise Center – from 5 pm till 7 pm for trick or treating for children age 12 and under.

Shively Farmers and Artisans Market Trick or Treat – 10 am – 2 pm, with trick or treating, face painting, and a DJ throughout. As well as costume contests, talent show, and a character meet and greet from 11 am- 1 pm

Trunk or Treat – 6:00pm, The Waverly Hills Sanatorium, bring the kids out for our annual trunk or treat and wear your best costume there will be a $100 dollar contest.

Trunk or Treat Carnival – 4:00-6:00pm, Parkland Baptist Church, Free to all–Food, Candy, Inflatables, Petting Zoo, and Pony Rides! Parking at Hartstern Elementary School (5200 Morningside Way). Trolley shuttle will be provided.

Halloween Bash – Okolona VFW Post 8639, 4205 Lambert Rd. Trunk or Treat 12-3, Free hot dogs and soda for $1.

Trunk or Treat – 9am to 12pm at 4936 Hazelwood Ave, With the help of Louisville Metro Police Foundation, we have organized a safe “Trunk or Treat event.

Trunk or Treat – October 30 from 4pm, Sojourn East 2501 Rudy Lane Louisville KY 40207. FREE and FUN for the whole community! Anyone in Louisville is welcome! Looking for a fun fall event for your WHOLE family? Join us for food, candy, and activities for ALL ages: bingo, cake walk, fire pits with s’mores, bounce houses (including one for TEENS), games, trunks with candy, FREE food, and a big giveaway! EVERYTHING is FREE!

Crestwood United Methodist Church – Trunk or Treat, 5:30-7:30pm.

Sojourn J-Town Trunk or Treat – 5-7pm, Sojourn J-Town admission and open to all! Come celebrate Fall at Sojourn J-Town. Come celebrate Fall at Sojourn J-Town! We’re flooding the parking lot with decorated cars, games, candy, music & much more. This is a community-wide event, so invite your friends!

Springdale Community Church Trunk or Treat – 4:00pm, Come and hang out on Sunday, October 30th as we host a family-friendly, not-so-spooky event on our campus where there will be creative cars, goodies for the kids, and multiple inflatables for kids of all ages! There will also be snacks and refreshments.

Trick or Treat at the Track – Churchill Downs invite little ghouls and goblins to Trick-or-Treat at the Track during Family Adventure Day. Enjoy Halloween fun under the Twin Spires, a day of thrilling racing, and over 20 activities for kids under 12. Entry is free-of-charge for up to two (2) children per one (1) paid adult
