Are you looking forward to spring and lots of outdoor adventures with your kids? We give you FREE EVENTS in MARCH! This time of year always moves fast when the area is focused on getting to Spring Break, Easter, and Derby time and the end of the school year. Stick with us and we will make sure you don’t miss a thing this spring!

Free admission all month at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens in Crestwood though March 24th. Explore the grounds, take a hike, relax with a good book or picnic lunch! Only open Tuesday – Friday 10am-4pm.
Flea Off Market Spring Kick Off is March 4th and 5th. They will have food trucks, great vendors, live music and so much more.
Farmer’s Markets are starting back up as we get ready for spring. This is definitely one of the best free events in March. Saturdays in March visit Beulah Presbyterian Church from 10am-1pm, check it out.
Louisville Metro Healthy Start invites you to their monthly Baby Shower event! March 8th, 12pm, St. George Community Center: 1205 26th St (corner of 26th & Oak Street)
In collaboration with Louisville Public Heath and Wellness’s Center for Health Equity and Healthy Start, the Shawnee Library announces the opening of The Neighborhood Nest. A pregnancy and postpartum hub, the Neighborhood Nest provides essential pregnancy, postpartum, infant, and early childhood products free of charge to the community. March 9th, 2:00-5:00pm.
March 11th is Family Fun Day at the KMAC Museum. Visitors can expect free admission, art making activities, artist demonstrations, docent-led pop-up tours & more! 10:00am-2:00pm
Family Fun Night returns to the Mary T. Aquatic Center on March 17th! Bring the family and swim for free from 7-9 p.m
The Return of St. Patrick is the theme this year for The St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 11th. Streets close down and Parade begins at 3:00pm at the corner of Broadway & Baxter. Floats/Units continue down Baxter to Bardstown Road. The Parade ends at Windsor Place.
