The City of Jeffersontown’s Summerfest – Join them for a celebration, a night of music, food, fun and a fireworks show to end the night. 6pm-10pm, Veteran’s Memorial Park @ 10707 Taylorsville Rd. Featuring live music and food trucks. Face painting, inflatables, snow cones, carnival games and more in the Kids Zone. Fireworks show to begin at dusk.

4th of July Weekend at French Lick Resort – Celebrate the holiday weekend with three special days of Americana. From poolside cookouts to patriotic musical performances to family-friendly activities, kick back and enjoy a relaxing Fourth of July weekend.

July 2 4th of July in Louisville

July 2 – Locust Grove Independence Day Free Admission ALL DAY! Join us at Locust Grove as we celebrate Independence Day in 19th-century style at Historic Locust Grove! This year, we are celebrating on Saturday, July 2^nd, the anniversary of when the Continental Congress officially voted for its freedom from Great Britain. Festivities of the day will include our new Unfolding the Story Tour, walk-throughs of the historic house, first person interpreter portrayals, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, a reading of “What to the Slave is the 4th of July” by Frederick Douglass, and more. Food trucks will be on-site for food and drink, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds. Free, 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Riverview Independence Festival – Be prepared for the Ohio River in Southwest Louisville to be come alive with fireworks, fun, food and a fantastic musical line-up at Riverview Park. Musical acts JD Shelburne & Sheryl Rouse and the Band will entertain the crowd on the Festival Stage. The Festival begins at 5:00 p.m. with performances continuing throughout the day until the phenomenal fireworks display at 10:00 p.m.

Fanfare for the 4th – 3pm, 17th annual Multimedia Choral Cinema Presentation of America. Enjoy this American historical retrospective and revel in the power of stirring patriotic songs & visuals! Multimedia Specialist Ruth Newman. Beargrass Christian Church, 4100 Shelbyville Rd. A great alternative to fireworks in Louisville.

VFW 4th of July Parade – Main St, Shelbyville, Ky, 10:00am-1:00pm.

July 3 4th of July in Louisville

Thunder Over Radcliff – This is Radcliff’s annual 4th of July celebration. Bring your lawn chairs and chill out around your vehicle to watch the show. Food will be on-site to enjoy while waiting for the show. Just remember, when you park you will not be permitted to leave until the end of the show. The fireworks in Louisville show will start near 10pm.

New Albany Shoreline Independence Day Celebration – Live performances, local food and drink vendors, games, inflatables, and a beautiful fireworks display at dark! Doors open at 6pm, FREE

Clarksville Independence Day Concert – Come out and join the city of Clarksville for an afternoon filled with patriotic music and songs. This event is free and open to the public. St. Anthony Catholic Church, 3:00-4:00pm.

July 3-4 4th of July in Louisville

Crescent Hill July 4th Celebration – Plan to attend the 37th Crescent Hill July 4th Celebration. Sunday July 3 from 10 am – 8 pm, Monday, July 4 from 10 am – 10 pm.
Fireworks on July 4th at 10 pm. Free and open to the public.

Independence Day Parade and Celebration of Freedom in Downtown Jeffersonville – 10am, 100-500 blocks of of Spring St.

Louisville Waterfront Fourth Festival – Celebrate Independence Day with the whole family, 5:00-11:00pm. The celebration will feature free musical entertainment, family activities, local food trucks, festival food and a professional fireworks display over the Ohio River.

Paristown will rock the traditional American holiday with an epic performance by The Crashers. The concert will be followed by Paristown’s own Zambelli fireworks show at 9:45 pm. Tickets are now available for advance purchase by following the link above. Open to all ages, $15 Adv | $18 DOS, Reserved Table w/ 6 Chairs: $100 (General admission tickets sold separately) Children ages 10 & under free with each ticketed adult. Limit one children per ticketed adult. No outside food or alcohol is permitted. Gates open at 5pm, the Crashers start at 6:30pm.

Jeffersonville Celebrates Freedom Parade – The parade is set to take place between the 100 and 500 blocks of Spring Street. 10:00am-12:00pm

Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise – Sit back and relax onboard this two-hour cruise as you watch the sky light up with a firework display from Waterfront Park. As always, snacks and drinks are available from our concessions stand and full bar! 8:00-10:00pm
